Swasraya is a training and rehabilitation centre having nearly 20 inmates, who are paralysed from the waist down and depending on a wheelchair.

For our brothers and sisters facing such a tragic situation, Swasraya has organized/established various endeavours like wood and metal carving centre, Janaseva centre, trophy manufacturing unit,tailoring unit etc. to make them lead an independent life.

Each person in Swrasraya self-help is a textbook. If we visit here during life’s problems, we will be convinced that our problems are not the same. A society that sees life positively in spite of various difficulties. In 2005, Swrasraya founded a self-help organization with tired legs and a tiring mind in his youth. The function was initiated by Reji Abraham

The self-confidence attained by the students while interacting with the swasraya inmates is beyond explanation. Swasraya provides a great lesson to our students through the smiling and pleasant faces and the positive attitude towards life of its inmates who are engaged in various self-employment programmes even within all limitations they have in their life. Our students are getting positive energy from the environment. They have decided to celebrate Onam with Swasraya.
